Cotton is the fabric most people come back to for sleep. It breathes, it washes well, and it gets softer rather than tired. Every style in this collection has a verified cotton composition — we have kept out anything where cotton is only a trim or a lace detail.

Shop by weight and weave. Cotton cambric is light, smooth and closely woven — Harriet, Celeste, Piper and the body of Barbara. Cotton voile is finer and airier again, which is what gives Florence its drift. Everything else is premium woven cotton: Kareena and Lauren for button-front ease, Leilani and Arianna for a long relaxed shape, Aurora and Polly for frills and softness, Deborah and Jessica for mid-length, and the Hera cotton pyjama shirt and pant if you prefer a two-piece.

Choose by silhouette and sleeve as much as by fabric — long and short cotton nighties, long-sleeve and sleeveless, button-front and pull-on.

Fit note: Leilani has a generous silhouette and currently runs large; we recommend taking one size down from your usual Hank & Hera size. Fabric, fit and current size availability vary by garment, so please check the individual product page.
