Hank & Hera is natural-fibre-led, not natural-fibre-only. Cotton, linen and silk are central to our sleepwear and loungewear, while some styles use viscose, nylon, elastane or blended fabrics where stretch, finish or function justify them. We consider the hand feel, weight, finish, detailing, care requirements and intended use of a garment when choosing its fabric. We work with experienced suppliers and production partners in India and select materials for the specific design rather than applying one fabric rule across the range.

Selected styles use silk and cotton-silk fabrics for a different finish, from a lustrous surface to a softer matte effect. Beyond fabric, we consider finishing detail — stitching, trims and closures chosen to suit each garment.
