I created Hank & Hera out of a very personal need — not just for sleepwear, but for softness. For something that felt calming, beautiful, and kind when life wasn’t.
We all go through seasons where our energy is low, our bodies are changing, or the world feels too loud. And during those times, I found myself reaching for clothes that could help me feel a little more held, physically and emotionally.
But what I found in stores didn’t match that need.
Most of what was available was synthetic, overly delicate, or designed for a narrow idea of femininity. The sizing was limited. The fabrics didn’t breathe. And there was no sense of quiet strength — no recognition that rest is sacred, and that comfort and beauty should never be mutually exclusive.
So I decided to make what I couldn’t find.
Hank & Hera is about the art of calm, not just how something looks, but how it feels when you wear it. It’s for Sunday mornings. For hospital stays. For new motherhood. For grief, for joy, for healing, and for the in-between. It’s about honouring yourself with garments that are made to support and soothe.
Every piece is made from natural fibres — like cotton, linen, and silk — chosen for their breathability, their softness, and the way they drape across the body. I’m intentional about every detail, from the shape of the neckline to the stretch in the fabric, so you never feel restricted or overlooked.
And yes, we size generously. Because everyone deserves to feel included in comfort.
But more than a product, Hank & Hera is a community. A place for women who are choosing softness in a hard world. For women who want to feel elegant in their rest. And for those who understand that true beauty often starts in the quiet moments, when we let ourselves just be.
